About Mike S. (aka Mikey Shades)

Mike was born in the Northeast Phila. area and grew up in the South Jersey suburbs.  As a teenager in the 80's, Mike was influenced by rock artists like Billy Joel, Metallica, KISS, Motley Crue, and later, the Smashing Pumpkins among many others. 

 

He is active in the Jersey Shore rock scene, as the drummer for Tilted since October 2023.  In his spare time, he is the drummer for Kimmie's Project that performs classic rock covers.

 

Mike is a veteran property/casualty insurance broker by trade and resides in Toms River, NJ.
